Quality labelThe certification of catteries according to Good Breeding Practices© allows an objective and transparent comparison between catteries independently of clubs and federations and is designed to encourage high quality breeding in Europe. AdvantagesTo demonstrate and prove high quality breeding, independently of the regulations and the standards of clubs or feline federations. To provide an impartial and objective certification. The breeders of classical breeds or types that cannot be shown can advertise their cattery and their work EthicsThe cattery is registered if it attains at least the « Standard » level of Good Breeding Practices©. Breeders also have the duty to follow their countries specific laws and the bylaws of their clubs and federations. The quality label is given by the registration committee. Extra questions can be submitted to the breeder. The certification must be renewed periodically. Copyright CCEU ® ™Procedure of the certification the Good Breeding Practices1. Please read the Good Breeding Practices Rules before downloading the form from the website 2. Fill in the form carefully on the desktop (not by hand) : you can either write in the fields or click on the drop down lists. The yellow squares cannot be filled in they will be calculated automatically. 3. The final score will be an average of the various indicidual forms. The certification is free of charge for the first 12 months. Afterwards the certification has to be renewed every 2 years (price 90 Euros for 2 years). A new certification can be submitted any time for the same amount.Rules for the certification to Good Breeding Practices©1. Any breeder of a CCEU recognised breed may apply for a certificate of Good Breeding Practices©. The test is computer calculated and gives an impartial and independant evaluation of the observance of good breeding practice, independently of a club or federation.
